Taupo-nui-a-Tia College ensures all of our students are well known and supported in such a way that they feel a sense of belonging to the college community. We believe in making their college experience enjoyable and safe to ensure an environment where students are able to reach their full potential. 

Our students feel secure in the knowledge that if things go wrong, the college has very transparent and well established systems in place for resolving issues. We have a discipline system that ensures all students are listened to, respected and treated fairly. We take great effort to communicate to our students that no problem is too small and if it is causing concern or anguish, then we want to hear about it.

Student life at Taupo-nui-a-Tia College is busy, fun and inclusive. Catering for students from all walks of life, we aim to allow our rangatahi every opportunity to get involved, participate and "get amongst it".  House pride is strong with students from Ngauruhoe, Tongariro, Tauhara and Ruapehu, competing for the House Shield every year.
