Year 13 students from Taupo-nui-a-Tia attend Leadership Camp
Our Year 13s have started the year with some fun and focusing activities on their leadership camp. They spent four days engaged in various activities to promote responsibility, leadership, work ethic and communication skills. Key highlights included the “Stepping into the Future” session, which centred around goal setting and preparing students to have a plan before entering employment or tertiary study, and the “Beach Sculpture” activity, where students visually created various aspects of meaningful student life out of objects found in nature. We anticipate a strong year group who will be good role models for our junior students, and who will continue to demonstrate many wonderful qualities as senior ambassadors of our school community.
