Nui students clean up at the BOP Area Schools Show Jumping Competition!
On Wednesday, three teams of riders descended on Te Teko for the annual Bay Of Plenty Area Schools Show Jumping Competition.
The fierce competition, as well as the rain, made for a challenging day where every placing was well deserved. MVP went to Kayleigh McLaren who won two of her classes and was placed second in another class.
The final points tally at the end of the completion saw Taupo White came out as the overall winners, with Taupo Green placing third.
Well done to each of the competitors, and thanks to the caregivers for taking the team and the equine partners to the competition. A huge thanks also goes to the Whakatane District Pony Club and the volunteers who make the day possible.
Winning team members: Emma Rose (Captain), Sarah Nelson, Katelynne Gainsford, Reianne Walker, Amber McLaren, Kayleigh McLaren.
