International students enjoy day on the water and experiencing thermal activity in Rotorua
Nui's international students had a fabulous trip to Rotorua to experience a bit of the natural wonders of New Zealand, with a bit of adventure thrown in for good measure. The school currently hosts students from six nationalities, and it's safe to say that they all wrote to their respectives families to inform them of the fun they had in Rotorua.
The highlight of the day was conquering the mighty Kaituna river. While all of the students managed to remain on the raft as they traversed over the 7 metre waterfall, one of the guides was not so lucky and managed to go for a little swim.
A stop at Waiotapu loop on the way home was the perfect end to the day. The students were impressed with their glimpse of the incredible geothermal activity in the area.
It was a highly successful day out and one that is sure to be remembered forever.
