Girls 1st XV Rugby team have a successful season
Our Nui Girls 1st XV Rugby team have had an incredible season. Their training and sportsmanship have really paid off, with the team earning wins as the King Country, Thames Valley, and Bay of Plenty champions.
In the BOP Girls 1st XV final in the Mount, the team played against Te Wharekura o Mauao, with Nui winning the final 42-31.
The Wahine Toa Cup, which is played between the best King Country girls rugby team and the best Thames Valley girls rugby team, saw more success for Nui. This game was played against Mercury Bay Area school, and our girls claimed the win with a score of 57-5. Fabulous work, girls!
