Year 11 Fashion Technology students design and make shirts for lucky Mountview students
As part of our learning in terms 2 and 3, our Y11 Fashion Technology students designed and made t-shirts for some lucky Mountview students who were displaying their whaia values.
We went up to Whaea Jodie’s class and measured up our students so we could custom make their shirts. After many weeks of designing, adapting patterns, prototyping, sewing, unpicking and resewing, and then adding decorations, we went back to Mountview and gave our shirts to our tamaiti. The smiles from everyone were enough to say it all!
