Last week the Young Enterprise Scheme held its regional Dragon's Den event in Rotorua. Taupo-nui-a-Tia College had 2 groups pitching this year, Fabuly and Flying Left.
Olivia Dornseiffer, the sole trader of Fabuly, pitched by herself and wowed the judges with her homemade, vibrant, and high-quality pet accessories. Olivia was awarded 89 points out of 100, for her presentation and business idea.
Nicholas Steed, Nathaniel Higgins, Harry Febery, and Lilliah Wade left the judges speechless while pitching their world-first, eco-friendly alternative to clay targets. Flying Left was awarded a whopping 99 points out of 100!
The huge effort that our students have put in has been recognised by entrepreneurs and business owners in the Waikato and we couldn't be any prouder! All the best to these students as they move through the next challenges of the Young Enterprise Scheme. We can't wait to celebrate your future success and results!
