Students settle back in to classes after lockdown
Students and teachers were happy to get back into the classroom after weeks of online learning. There were a lot of hands on activities happening, which, for many, was a welcome change from zooming.
Year 12 Biology students enjoyed getting creative and building models of cell structures, while the Year 12 Physics class practiced for an internal assessment by collecting non-linear data. In English, some Year 10 students made lego models to show their understanding of important themes in their studied text. The Year 9 Food Tech students kept up with their baking and made delicious cinnamon and banana pikelets. Our lovely librarian, Mrs Murray, even got in on the action with a fun display at the entrance to the school library.
It's safe to say it was a busy first week back, but one that we all enjoyed. Welcome back everyone!
