We are incredibly proud to announce this year's top scholars!

It is with pleasure that we announce the Dux for 2021 is Kees Manders, and the Proxime Accessit is Issac Mathai. These students have maintained an incredibly high standard of achievement over the year and both are going on to study a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors, Kees at Canterbury University, and Issac at either Canterbury or Auckland University. 

Kees gained Excellence endorsements at both Level 1 and 2 and has already earned an Excellence endorsement at Level 3 even before exams. Kees has shown tremendous commitment to his studies and has gained several subject endorsements at Levels 1 and 2. He is well-rounded academically and has a fine work ethic. These attributes have enabled him to gain 1st equal in Chemistry, 1st in Design and Visual Communication, 1st in Mathematics with Calculus, and 2nd in English and in Physics. 

Issac has gained Excellence endorsements at both Levels 1 and 2, has already gained a Merit endorsement at Level 3, and is 8 credits away from gaining an Excellence endorsement overall at Level 3. This year Issac was 1st equal in Chemistry, 1st in Physics, 1st in Digital Technology, and 2nd in Maths with Calculus.
