Last weekend the Lake Taupo Sailing Club hosted the Central North Island Regatta.
A young and relatively inexperienced TNT team competed at the Central North Islands regatta last weekend. This was a teams match racing regatta, sailing 420 yachts in beautiful conditions. After a win against Lindisfarne on the first day, the team had a few other close results against more experienced teams. Lots of learning about teamwork, boat handling, and tactical decision making to be had!
The team is off to Nationals in New Plymouth at the end of April to end their season.
