During tournament week we had four of our students compete at the NZSS Climbing Cup. It was held at Rocktopia in Mount Maungaui.
The competition was held over two days. The first for qualifying and the second, if you are invited back, for finals.
Our students competed in the Top Rope Speed Climb event and Bouldering.
George Simpson was close to qualifying for the finals. Everyone else gave it their all.
Congratulations to Finn Wigram, Thomson Farmer and Tristan Hayter.
The boys did really well, and represented the school with plenty of good sportsmanship and enthusiasm. It was a tough set of climbs this year!
