Congratulations to Felix!
Felix competed at the North Island Schools Cross Country race in Taikorea on Friday last week, competing on a 16km loop riding for just under 2hrs with only one 2min stop for fuel and water. Massive effort in the deep sand. Coming away with 3rd in his class (85cc) and 48th overall in the competitive class out of 99 riders, he was in a field of riders ranging for yr9 to yr13. He placed 19th for Taupō Nui out of the 50 schools attending. There were 180 riders in total. Solid effort for his first ever cross country event.
