We have three our basketball boys Sol Calvert, Kieran Steenson and Lucas Waitere-Nadayave who will join a group of NZ students heading over to IMG in America later this month , Sol will be attending a 3 week Total athlete programme and Kieran and Lucas a 2 week programme along with the other boys from Hamilton , Wellington and Christchurch.
They boys will live on site in dorms with 1200 students that attend this sporting academy year round. IMG caters for a wide range of sports , not just basketball.
The Williams sisters attending IMG (Tennis) Tiger woods (Golf) to name a few.
IMG Academy basketball camps provide the training and development to truly transform your on-court performance. With 9 alumni drafted to the NBA and 11 McDonald’s All-Americans since 2017, IMG Academy implements the same proven coaching methodology into camp programming.
Camps are for ages 10-18 with programming for all skill levels and availability throughout the year to accommodate your schedule.
The campus is some 600 acres , has 1200 students and 1800 teachers.
