Over the weekend coach Daz took the Junior Premier basketball team on a road trip playing 4 basketball games over the BOP region.
There were only 8 players in the van due to illness.
1st game vs Otumoetai College 58 - 45
2nd game vs Tauranga Boys College 63-71 Loss. Awesome game, Injury at the beginning of the 3/4 left the team with 7 players against a tough TBC team who play in the Tauranga Snr A grade & are currently undefeated after round 7. Proud as of the boys who played well & was a great game to watch.
3rd game vs Aquinas College 59-35 W in- Cruised past them fairly easy, used the game to work on some of their plays.
4th game vs Mount Maunganui College 79-51 Win. Too much defensive intensity for this MMC team, slowly picked them apart on offense.
The boys were absolutely shattered after the weekend as the games were pretty being played back to back.
The group did the school proud and were highly praise from the opposition coaches.
