Congratulations Neeve Buckingham and Rory Mackintosh
Over the weekend the annual North Island Secondary Schools Horse Trials was held at the National Equestrian Centre here in Taupo.
Each school has a team of four riders and Taupo nui-a-Tia College students had a combined team with Tauhara College.
The two equestrians representing Taupo nui-a-Tia were: Rory Mackintosh and Neeve Buckingham.
At Horse trials (otherwise known as Eventing) combinations need to excel in all three phases. These are dressage, show jumping and cross country and are competed over a long 2 days.
Our Taupo Colleges team was awarded 4th place overall - Congratulations!
