Years 12 and 13 Tourism students plus some of our overseas students visited Hobbiton Movie Set on Tuesday. It was an awesome day, especially since the addition of the actual hobbit houses you can go inside - complete with bathroom, toilet, dens, kitchen and bedrooms. Mr Tinworth tried out the wee hobbit bath and bunks. The detail in absolutely everything was incredible. One of the most amazing things was the number of tourists there at the same time, apparently about a thousand a day.
It gets better every year.
