Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Inaugural Year 9 Shield Challenge today.
Thank you for turning up in your house colours and competing with enthusiasm.
Today started with games of Swedish Softball, Diamond Cricket and Tee Ball... house vs house.
The afternoon was full of good old fashioned fast paced Top Town style events such as: ball and cone race, balls in the bucket, canoe carry, nail hammering, tyre roll, hoopla, ball over the post, and foxtail throw.
There were house chants and points for participation as well as good sports.
Well done to the house with the smallest representation and obviously the biggest heart as they took out the Shield. Congratulations Ngauruhoe, you smashed it!
Thanks also to Mrs Ronke and everyone who helped run the day. It was a great success!
