Parafed Waikato visited some of our PE classes yesterday, with 13 basketball wheelchairs for us to try out. The day was a huge success!
The students who had a go seemed to absolutely love the challenge of trying to maneuver the wheelchair with a ball on the go, in an action-packed basketball game. This day was a great opportunity for our year 10 student, Dannica, to trial this particular chair in preparation for getting one of her own for Year 11 P.E next year. The teachers involved had a ball too!
