Congratulations to our rock climbing students who headed to the NZ Secondary Schools Climbing Cup during Tournament Week. The event was held at Rocktopia in Tauranga over two days of tough competition against climbers from all over the country.
Jade Hasse, George Simpson, Tristan Hayter and Thomson Farmer competed in disciplines of Top Rope speed climbing and Bouldering.
George had an amazing climb and was leading in the top ropes section but the bouldering was really tough and he ended up mid-pack.
The students were great, they all climbed really well and were great ambassadors for the school
A great experience for them all, it was a tough competition but they should all be really proud of their results.
