2023 Junior Schools Zone 2 Boys Premier Tournament
Throughout the season, the junior prem players trained hard to get to the level of play they’re at.
With a few defeated games along the way helped toughen them up for the tournament.
Starting with Tauranga Boys High and Fraser High schools in our pool, we were up against some dominating teams as their quick turnovers out scored our boys.
Which in the end put us in the crossover playoffs. Again we had to face 2 more tough teams. Unexpectedly, our junior prem team miraculously fought against our opponents winning both games. They were John Paul College 54 - 51 and Hillcrest High School 99-73 which put us in10th position.
The hard work and dedication throughout a tough season, finally paid off.
We are so grateful for our Coach Daz Karipa and our supporting coaches Wiremu Te Kani, John Dolan and Dylan Perfect-Tait.
