The juniors in the Clay Target Team put on an impressive display on Thursday at the Regional Competition in Matamata. The junior squad is made up of year nine students who have just started competitively shooting this year. All of them regularly go to Wednesday practice and their hard work was seen in the outstanding results.
Harlan Wildey shot as well as the senior squad members, while Jaxon Terry and Hamish Seymour also had great results. Ollie Wigram took a while to warm up but held his own after the first event. Ty Blake had the added pressure of shooting with the seniors and was highly focused. Finally, Fergus MacLachlan got the ‘High Over All’ score for the college. Great work, team!
Well done to the seniors for their consistent effort and modeling of shooting etiquette. Special thank you to the amazing families for the fantastic support!
