The College is a hive of activity this week as we prepare for the production of “Grease”. Our student of the week, Max Aranga (Kuratau School, Te Mata Primary, Taupō Intermediate, and Ngāti Tūwharetoa) is playing an integral role in making this spectacular event occur. In addition to performing two roles in the production (Leo of the Flaming Dukes and a dancer), Max has also dedicated many additional hours to set construction. This has been incredibly valued by the staff who have worked alongside him outside of school hours. Max also provides service to the school as a House Leader for Ngauruhoe House. Max’s aspirations are to head off to the University of Auckland next year to study mechanical engineering. Congratulations Max, and keep up the great work in the classroom and around the school!
This is also a great reminder to our community to purchase tickets to watch Max and many other Taupo-nui-a-Tia students display their talents in “Grease” from next Tuesday to Saturday at 7pm.
