Taupō-nui-a-Tia College has five students who will be attending the Halberg games in Auckland these holidays. This is a three-day national sports festival open to young people aged 8-21 with a physical or visual impairment. Regional teams from around New Zealand come together with the opportunity to compete against other young people with similar impairments in a range of sports.
This is the team working with Jo From Parafed, Bay of Plenty, getting in some practice before going to the games. Even Mr Claxton got in on the action!
We wish our athletes and their support team the best of luck for this festival.
