U16 BOP Lakelands Cricket Rep Team

Ethan Staddon - Captain, pace bowler -Allrounder 

Ryan Lloyd- Wicket Keeper, Batsman 

Riley Staddon- Spin Bowling -Allrounder

James McIntyre- Bowler


The above boys are currently playing in U16 ND Cricket Tournament in Whangarei. The team is made up of selected players from Taupo, Whakatane, and Rotorua. 

On Monday they played Poverty Bay in a 20/20x, winning 146/4, PB 53/10. In the afternoon, it was BOP Coastlands. It was a very tight game and they only just lost Coastlands 119/5, and Lakelands 115/7. 

On Tuesday they played Counties Manukau and won 139/8 Lakelands, CM, 134/4. 

The coaches are very proud of the team; these are the best results that Lakelands BOP Cricket has ever had in this T20 round! 

The team have three 50 over games to go and they will play Hamilton, Waikato Valley, Northern Districts Māori Team. The boys are pumped for the rest of the week!
