The National Certificates of Education Achievement (NCEA) are the qualification Year 11, Year 12, and Year 13 students are working towards at Taupo-nui-a Tia College.  NCEA is recognised by employers, and used for selection by universities and polytechnics, both in New Zealand and overseas.  Currently, the New Zealand education system is going through some major changes.  We have a new curriculum and NCEA refresh taking place.  From 2024, the new look Level 1 will be implemented.  Our school is currently developing our curriculum so our students will be ready for this qualification in 2024.  Level 2 will be in place for 2026 and Level 3, 2027.
